How to start MS SQL Server 2000
Step 1
To start MSSQL Server, go to Program Files and select MS SQL Server ,after that choose Service Manager.
A window showing that MSSQL Service services is started.
Step 2
To start it from the command line try the following code
C:\net start mssqlserver
