How to create dimension

Then we need to create our dimension.

Step 1

Click on Next to continue.

Step 2

We will use the Star Schema. Single dimension table and click Next to continue.

Step 3

Select time_by_day table and click on Next continue.

Step 4

Then select Time Dimension and click Next to continue.

Step 5

Here, select Year, Quarter, Month, Day and click Next to continue.

Step 6

Enter a name for this dimension. We will call it MyNewDimension.

Here we will call our cube New Cube.

Step 7

Click on Finish to complete it.
